WP InPlate is an online ordering system for food businesses that runs on your WordPress website with WooCommerce. Customers order from your website – for pickup, delivery, to eat in, or with a QR code at their table. The order goes to the kitchen display (KDS), then to the courier, and the menu on the TV screens in your venue updates itself.
Getting started
If you are installing WP InPlate for the first time, go through these three chapters in order:
- Requirements and installation
WP InPlate’s technical requirements, installing the plugin, activating a license or the 30-day free trial.
- Setup wizard
Step by step through the WP InPlate setup wizard – from checking WooCommerce through payments to the first kitchen staff account – and the readiness-to-sell list.
- Your first test order
How to check that WP InPlate works: place a test order and follow it from the menu on your website through the order form to the kitchen display.
After them you have a working system: a menu on your website, an order form and a kitchen display.
